Our group project based on Transformation is now on show at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary Hospital in Wigan. This exhibition as not only helped us develop within our professional practice but as a purpose in the hospital to add colour and interest throughout for patients, staff and visitors. We hope the work gives some enlightenment from the common worries in hospitals, providing a place to escape modern concerns whilst connection with art. The exhibition concise various styles of traditional and contemporary art, ranging from illustration to abstract artwork.
Many thanks to Nick Baston who gave us the opportunity to have an exhibition at the hospital and inviting professional photographer and journalist from the local newspaper 'Wigan Observer' to publicize our work and the exhibition.
