Foursight Art

As a part of our professional practices and a great way of working with my colleagues, we have formed an art group, established on 22 January 2015 with the name 'Foursight Art'. Blog post detailing the event - Group Name. As a part of developing the group, we are lead by objectives to sophisticate and promote the group such as have an official logo, defining our team roles and finding way to publicise our work under the group name. 

The first step was choosing roles and responsibilities within the team, selected by the team; to whom we thought or had the capability to act the rule successfully. It was also considered what role would develop the individual professional and whom would benefit more - to achieve greater knowledge within the business of the art industry. As being a team, the roles and responsibilities we not to be entirely subjective to an individual but will be placed within pairs or everyone in the group - everyone considered as the overseer of the tasks and roles. These are the positions... 

I am Co-ordinator - Chloe Reynolds

Responsible for organizing and executing events such as our end of year show and being the 'go to person' about our relations to contracts and building the relationships. I will also be the manager of meetings and minutes, having arranged to have once a week with the group to meeting to review process and possible tasks. I will continue to remind people of tasks and will be working mainly alongside Georgia Smallshaw.

Resources Manager - Georgia Smallshaw

Overseer of transports, costs and health & safety for our events. She will be incharge of working out what will be needed at the events such as food, costs of rent, budgeting and methods with constructing the show.  

Spokesperson - Calum Rennox

Responsible for advertising regards to the group logo, posters and explanatory labeling. He will be responding for the designs and the placement of posters and other forms of advertising within the public. Charlotte Stockley will working in partnership with Calum. 

Net-worker - Charlotte Stockley 

Responsible for advertising regards to social networking, other online sources and being in charge of the groups email. She also be the overseer of the sponsorships needed to fuel our events, this task will be for the entire group. 

We will now attend regular meeting to assess process and tasks every Thursdays at 2pm.

From 19th March, we now have an official Logo for Foursight Art after conducting of live belief to graphic designers. This is our logo designed by James Sanders a Foundation degree Level 4 Graphic student. The design consists of four diverse lines and show different ways of mark making which we seen as different forms of art and us as individuals. We have congratulated James and will remain in contact this him for royalty purposes.
